I can strongly relate to this, especially the feeling I’m not being loud enough. But the threat of trolls and the self-imposed expectation I need to have all my backup at the ready to make any strong position on the many things frustrating me right now (even if they’re literally the same positions I see people I trust taking) feels like more work than I can muster to put a few of my thoughts out into the universe and then they possibly not even get seen. I also have tried to look offline and focus there. One of the challenges I’m finding is so much in our offline communities is also now dependant on social media. It’s how events are communicated primarily for many of the community groups in our town, as an example. I’d love to also find non-social media ways that offline communities can stay informed, without recreating the an environment where the same toxicity breeds.
