Wow this makes me sad. Serving got me through university. Most of my family are career servers - and they are great at their job. It's an art. My husband runs his own coffee shop. Even in the Before Times, I was mistreated as a server. 14+ hr days, few breaks, sexual harassment. I can't imagine how this is exacerbated when your health and safety are on the line. This is unconscionable. For now I stick to take out and generous tips but that's not enough! Not even close. I feel like I'm losing it. It's all just so wrong. I'm scared for my partner and for everyone else out there risking... What?
